Not sure which day I am on. I am on the 11th week or so. I have been missing some workouts. Can't workout everyday, just too busy.
I screwed up my classic workout because I misread my workout weeks. This is my 4th week of a workout so I am supposed to take a rest week. Basically, I am still supposed to workout but the workouts aren't as intense. I am just taking a break today because I am just tired. Not eating any late night snacks so that is my workout. Hahahaha!
I have decided I need two rounds of the p90x workouts. I will finish my 90 days and do it one more time.

Day 53
Had a party this weekend and so many people said how good I look and how I had lost weight. Whoo hoo! Considering I hadn't lost much weight, this is very encouraging. They say muscle weighs 3x more than fat so maybe I really only weigh 50 lbs.

I know my count is off. I started over again on day 45 beginning of this week. I was ok last week but missed 2 workouts so starting again.

Starting as if day 45
Had to take a break because of vacation and my knees were bothering me. I couldn't exercise during vacation because the hotel we stayed at during our vacation charged a daily rate to use their gym. What the heck? Nothing is free in Vegas anymore.
I did swim a couple hours with the kids everyday but it was more wading than swimming.
Started up again a couple days ago and I can hear my knees creaking. Getting old sucks.
Legs and shoulders are a little sore but not as bad as the first time I started this journey.
Have lost about 5 lbs since I started up again. I think I have figured out the weight loss issue. I have to stop drinking half a bottle of wine after I exercise everyday. Damn!

Day 45 or 46
Half way there.
Last night did back & biceps. Practically didn't break a sweat using 10 lb weights. I am not going to go any heavier though, my biceps are big enough as it is.
Still not much weight loss, clothes not fitting much differently other than my shoulder area seems to be tighter (as in my clothes are getting tighter, not my body) but I do see muscular definition and I actually like all the exercises and changing it up.
Since I started the classic version later, I think I am going to extend the 90 days by a few weeks using the classic.

Day 43
Week 7
Yesterday I was sweeping and Tim said my triceps were showing. Yay!
Humph! Is it week 7 already? Almost half way through and I am not really that happy with where I am. I feel like my goal was to lose weight not just gain muscle mass. May need to rethink my diet again. Of course, having a GNO complete with beer and soju is not a good idea.

Day 39
Did legs and back last night and yoga the previous day.
I don't know... Are there really any results? Can I really tell or have I always looked this muscular?
My right knee is giving me some problems though, I need to start taking glucosamine.
Going out with my girlfriends tonight. I am going to see if any of them see a difference. I'll just nonchalantly flex every so often...

Back and biceps day today. Didn't really try too hard on ab ripper, still not feeling tip top.

Day 35
Week 5. Started the classic mode this week thinking the lean mode was too weak. In the middle of plyo, I felt like throwing up. I tried to recover and I couldn't and wound up in the bathroom.
I don't think it's the exercise, I actually haven't felt well all day. I have been in and out of the bathroom every hour or so. I think I had some allergic reaction to something I ate last night or I ate some bad meat.
I tried to stick it through the exercise I just walked around until the cool down and did that.
This weekend my husband did the kenpo with me. He kept telling me what to do and so I finally told him to get lost. I just don't understand why he thinks he can tell me what to do. Anyway, that's a whole other blog!

Day 30
Today was Chest/Shoulders/Arms and I will confess, I could not do all the push-ups. By the time I was supposed to the tri-rises (I think that is what it was called), my arms were shaking so bad, they couldn't hold my weight and I thought I might injure myself.
Also, I found a fellow p90x blogger. Problem was she started and stopped around week 3, then she started over and stopped again at week 4 or 5. I was going to ask her some questions but she stopped blogging and the last blog post was in 2011 so she is probably over this whole workout regiment. I was going to ask her, when do you begin to see results? Or lose weight? Or does eating more really help because it hasn't for me. Can I replace my protein drink with 2 tall glasses of wine? And why not?
So far, no one has said anything about my rock-hard thighs and my sculptured arms... Maybe I should wear a bikini to work and flex all day long. Or maybe because they don't exist!

Day 23
Update on my husband's p90x progress: On the 1st day he received it, he did about 30 minutes. The end.
A co-worker of mine purchased the p90x before I did and after I purchased mine and told him about it, he said he was going to start it again. He started about a week after I started. On the 1st day he started it, he did about 30 minutes. The end.
I am in 4th week and it is my relaxed week. No weights, more just stretching and yoga.
Found out another co-worker of mine is doing it too. I think there are a lot of closer p90xers.

Day 21
Almost to one month. No weight change. Trying to modify eating. I think I need more activity in my day.
My legs are tight! Very muscular to begin with and now they are more defined. Definitely seeing muscles in my arms but those muscles are still mixed with lots of fat so those still need more time.
Overall, I have always been on the thicker side so I have a feeling I will never be thin. Just muscular and thick. I am definitely heathy and can last a lot longer at the gym than most.

Day 16
Have not lost one single friggin' pound. One of my biggest challenge in this whole thing is taking a shower EVERY night! I hate it. Used to shower every other day but now I have to shower every night because I sweat like a pig (not sure if pigs sweat but I am sure they stink) and I am having bad hair days every day.
I have noticed muscle definition on my arms. I am afraid I am bulking up too big.

Day 12
Not losing any weight. Actually gained! Not happy about that but I am going to keep at it. I ache in different places but not too bad.
Staying up too late watching Korean dramas. One of the characters in the drama said to her mother, "why did you make me dinner? You know I don't eat dinner." I was like, "what?!?!?" no wonder they are all so skinny. I can't not eat dinner everyday!

Day 10
Started my 2nd week off with some core and cardio. Muscles still feeling sore but not quite as bad. The more I watch these videos of these fit women I wonder if I should try for a buffer look.
Someone asked me yesterday what my goal is... One size? Two sizes? 10
Pounds? Actually I didn't have any specific goal, just to lose weight and look better but I think I need a goal. My goal is or more defined arms and a loss of at least 20 pounds.
If I lose 20 lbs... I think I will look sickly. Maybe just 15 pounds.

Day 6
Did legs and chest last night. Not sure if it was that tough because I have been exercising all week or because I don't have leg or chest muscles.
Tonight is kenpo... Not sure what that is but I am sure it will kick my ass tonight.
Btw, I am down in poundage and am now in the150's again. Woot woot!

Day 5
Down to 160.4 lbs. Whatever happened to the days when I would skip a meal and be down 3 lbs? Those days are long gone.
The yoga last night kicked my butt! I have done yoga before many times but not THAT type of yoga. They had this one move called the crane, I fell on my head twice before giving up. Sweat like a maniac!
Went to Target to get some 10 lb weights because the 5 lb ones I have are for wimps! Of course when I tried to lift them from the cart onto the car I thought for a second I should have grabbed the 8 pounders.
We shall see how I do tonight. Chest and back! To be continued...

Day 4
Woke up to a little soreness sitting down but not too bad. No effect on my shoulders or arms... yet. I am noticing that the older I get, the longer it takes for the effects of exercise to make itself known. I may feel soreness tomorrow.
Weighed in at 161.4 so am slowly but surely losing weight and also gaining muscle.
Hard to make high carb breakfasts for the kids and not want to chow down with them.
It is now 6:18pm. Dinner has been consumed. Tired and sleepy. Tonight is yoga. Maybe I can fit in a nap before yoga.
Started yoga a little late in the evening and didn't realize it was 1 hr and 30 min. Asked Tim to join me. After a couple breathing exercises, he left. That yoga kicked my butt! I sweated so much I thought I was slip sliding on my mat.
A little frumpy with the kids though. Sorry kids, mommy is not in a good mood.

My Third Day with P90X
My third day doing P90X and I decided to do a blog. At first I didn't think anything of it but when I woke up and couldn't sit on the toilet because my butt hurt so much, I thought I should track my progress. Hopefully, by my next post, I can sit down without much pain.
On Sunday, I presented my husband with his Father's Day gift... The p90x, we were both gungho about starting it. We decided to do the lean version. We started with the core synthesizer, quite a workout. My husband got through about 70% of it and decided to modify (meaning sit on the floor and just watch me). I finished it but had a hard time catching my breath by the end of it.
Yesterday I did the cardio X video by myself (hubby too busy). The cardio X didn't seem like a big deal, my regular cardiokickboxing classes are twice as difficult (pftt! I say).
As I mentioned, I couldn't sit on the toilet without wincing so obviously I must have underestimated the strength of the cardioX video.
Today I did the shoulder & arms video as well as the ab ripper. I think the weights I am using are too light, may have to buy heavier weights (prob 10 lbs). Of course if I can't lift my pencil because it is too heavy for me tomorrow, I may stick with my 5 lbs for now. I will keep you posted (get it? I will keep you posted... blogging humor).

I think it's because my boobs are so big, if i didn't have my boobies I would be 20 lbs lighter, so I guess I should say my starting weight is 143 lbs. but of course if I keep subtracting, it will not really seem right and I may occasionally revert back to my booby weight so I guess I will stick with 163 for now.
Today I weighed in at 162.4 so not sure if I am making any real progress. I have gained weight lately because I haven't been keeping track of my eating... And I just started that... And I don't care really about what I am eating. Tired of dieting all the time.
Not really in this to lose weight, more to tone my body.
